In my mind when I think of bamboo stalks I think of amazing asian movies like House of Flying Daggers and my dream of walking through a bamboo forest someday. I love the calm atmosphere they radiate and how many spectatucular fights happen in them in movies. Did you know bamboo grows several meters a day?  Fascinating!
